Webmin is a configuration utility for services and apps on linux. Similar to Yast but it can be accessed through a webserver.


To install Webmin on Suse Linux:


Download the rpm package for Webmin

Install the rpm package for webmin rpm -ivh packagename.rpm

Install webmin as a service: 

• chkconfig webmin on
• insserv webmin

Open browser and point to https://localhost:10000 or https://ipaddress:10000 or https://hostname:10000

Login as root and password of root
